REPRISE - In this episode, we revisit a very special edition of the podcast. It is the second most downloaded podcast to date from June of 2020. Ken presents four passionate, timely voices: recent interviews with and challenges from John Williams, Adiana Vega, Osahon Obazuaye, and Albert Tate. Albert, John, and Osahon are African American men who have become sought-after spokespersons in this era of turmoil around the issues of race, justice, protest, and policing. Adiana, a singer-songwriter and activist, was injured by rubber bullets and tear gas in a protest in Hollywood, California. Each tells their story. The Beached White Male affirms that people, now more than ever, are eager to listen - all around issues of Black Lives Matter, privilege, racial unrest, implicit and systemic racism. Don’t miss these powerful, emotional insights straight from the hearts of four remarkable people. Learn more - find our show notes.

I consider myself a creative catalyst. My values are rooted in passion, professionalism, and work ethic entirely because of the way the people I reach respond to these elements. I have seen firsthand that there is a discernible difference when a professional genuinely cares about what they are doing and who they are doing it for. – LinkedIn

Co-Founding Pastor, Fellowship Monrovia, Califronia
From his origins at a small church in Pearl, Mississippi to a multi-site church in Monrovia, California and everywhere in between, Albert Tate has been preaching the Gospel for decades. Albert is a gifted and dynamic communicator who is passionate about sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the local and global church. His unique style combines humor and storytelling, inspiration and conviction, grace and truth; congregations and audiences of all ages are engaged in the Word of God in compelling ways.
After hearing a call from God to plant a Gospel-centered, multi-ethnic, intergenerational church, Albert and his wife LaRosa planted Fellowship Church in January 2012. Their hope for Fellowship is to cultivate a community of disciples who are being transformed by the Gospel, Growing in a life of worship, Gathering in community, and Giving their lives away on mission.
